Dear American friends and descendants from Weigenheim citizens,

This year Weigenheim will celebrate the  1200th anniversary of when it was first mentioned in an official document.

The main event of the celebration is planned for the weekend of 18th  to 21st August 2022 with a parade taking place on the afternoon of Sunday 21st August.

As the history of Weigenheim is also part of your past we would like to invite you to take part in the celebration and would be happy to welcome you here.

We know that it is difficult to plan ahead in these Covid times, but it would be helpful for planning the event and your possible accomodation if you told us in advance if you consider  coming  over to join our celebration.

We look forward to hearing from you by the end of February.
